Scientists are using ping pong to explore the interplay between people and robots in dynamic settings.

Matthew Gombolay, an assistant professor at the School of Interactive Computing and director of the CORE Robotics Lab at Georgia Tech, is leading a group of scientists to demonstrate that people might not necessarily rely on a robot’s explanation for what it is about to do by using table tennis as an example.
