A group of researchers from the Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, created a bionic quadruped microrobot constructed with soft thinned-film and weighing only 41 mg that could be activated by magnetic fields. This innovation has the potential to be used for stomach examinations and interventions. The researchers were able to carry out the multimodal control of the microrobot through magnetic fields, in addition to its ability to grasp and transport micro-objects.
